Qlusters Brief: Qlusters provides openQRM - Data center Management software. Qlusters Inc, started its operations on Nov. 1, 2001, and was initiated as Israel Seed Partners first Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) investment. Qlusters produces openQRM an open source data center management and automation software. openQRM improves the reliability of commodity servers data center and reduce the total cost of operation.
Co-Investors: Israel Seed Partner's first Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) company. Israel Seed Partners is joined by Benchmark Capital, Duff Ackerman & Goodrich LLC and Charles River Ventures.
Management: Ofer Shoshan, Founder and CEO: Ofer Shoshan has over 16 years of experience in starting and managing high-tech companies and projects in Israel, Europe and the United States. Prior to founding Qlusters, Ofer was Entrepreneur in Residence at Israel Seed Partners, founder and CEO of Coretech, a company that developed a life-saving cardiological device, VP Business Development at RichFX, an Internet technology company, and VP Marketing and Business Development of Comsec Information Security (TASE: CMSC). Ofer had also been retained as a strategic consultant by many major corporations including CheckPoint (CHKP) and others. Ofer is member of the board of the MIT Enterprise forum of Israel. He also served in multiple command roles as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Ofer holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau , France.
