NewChannel Raises $39 Million in Series C Round Funding

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- NewChannel, a developer of hosted customer interaction services for e-commerce Web sites, said it raised $39 million in its Series C round of funding. New investor Nexus Capital Partners led the round and was joined by new investors Bulldog Capital, The Challenge Fund, Comdisco Ventures, EOS Partners, Regal Capital, and RRE Investors. Previous investors Bessemer Venture Partners and VantagePoint Venture Partners participated. Chase H&Q; acted as the placement agent for the round. NewChannel will use the funds for business expansion.
