SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 1999--

Digital Image Copyright Protection Pioneer Raises More Than $8 Million from Leading Investment Firms

cSafe Ltd., the company that brought to market the first complete solution for the protection, sharing and sale of digital images and other intellectual property over the Web with its PixSafe(TM) product, today announced that it has successfully secured $8.5 million in second round funding from a group of leading Internet and high technology investment firms, Attractor and Entertainment Ventures (EMV). New investors Attractor and EMV join initial investor IsraelSeed Partners.

Last year, cSafe, a privately-held company founded in Beit Shemesh, Israel, raised nearly $2 million from IsraelSeed Partners, Israel's leading Internet-centric venture capital firm, who also participated in this second round.

This latest round of funding, which brings total funding to $10 million, will enable cSafe to invest in marketing, research and development of image protection solutions, and further fuels the company's growth. "We're committed to developing solutions that will offer image owners, such as professional photographers, stock photo agencies, even Hollywood studies, the ability to protect their digital properties," said Daniel Schreiber, CEO and co-founder of cSafe. "This significant funding allows us to support our goal of rapidly building an industry leading company which is focused on image protection."
