CommTouch signed five OEM agreements in third quarter

The company expects to report revenue of $400,000 and deferred revenue of $1.1 million for the quarter.

Anti-spam solutions company Commtouch Software Ltd. (Nasdaq:CTCH) announced on Thursday that it signed five new OEM agreements during the third quarter. CEO Gideon Mantel said, "We now service over 25 million mailboxes. This, we believe, places the company with the elite anti-spam vendors in the marketplace, such as Symantec, Trend Micro, and Network Associates. We continue to believe that our RPD technology will be a winner in this hotly contested market."

The company said that it expected to report third quarter revenue of $400,000, and deferred revenue of $1,100,000. It said it had total cash at the end of September of approximately $5 million, and that it expected to be cash positive by mid-2005.

CommTouch is traded on the Nasdaq Small Cap market at a market cap of $15 million. Its announcement said, "The company continues to discuss its delisting status with Nasdaq."
